City DPRD's Commission C held a joint meeting along with the Ragunan Zoo (TMR) Techincal Management Unit, Wednesday (1/3).

City DPRD's Commission C Chairman, Santoso disclosed that the meeting was purposed to evaluate the last year's Ragunan Zoo budget.

Every year, he mentioned, the zoo got a subsidy by Rp 20 billion from APBD. In future, they were hoped able to be independent in managing the only one zoo in Jakarta.
"Zoo ticket fare is cheaper and must be calculated again," he stated.
Responding on this matter, Ragunan Zoo Technical Managament Unit Head, Dinas Himawati explained that ticket set at Rp 4,000 for adult and Rp 3,000 for children has been based on Gubernatorial Regulation No. 96/2011 on Service Fare of Ragunan Zoo.
"So we must make a review first to get an approval of governor, whether it is appropriate to be increased or not," she said.
